Antarctic Reflections As Life Goes On I’m writing this in the wee hours of the morning three weeks after stepping off the ship. The amnesia still hasn’t kicked in. The last days of this 4 month odyssey were a nightmare and the memories are still raw. I’m really looking forward to that subsiding so I can enjoy the three months of great memories that were made on that boat and the precious time down in Antarctica. I know that will come. Steam From Box 1 to Box 2 | East Antarctica
Friday to Sunday, 9-11 February 2024Day 79-81 of 110ish Box 1 – Tick! No More Fishies For Us Today our allotted quota in Box 1 has been caught and it’s time to move the roughly 560nm to our next fishing hole in Box 2 which is further along the coast of East Antarctica towards White Island and Davis Station.
